Air conditioning Alexa

To enjoy the benefits of a voice controlled air conditioner, follow the below steps to connect to your Alexa devcie.

Before you try to connect to your Alexa, you must have connected your air conditioner to the +home app.

To do this, please follow the steps shown in this guide

Download and open the Alexa app.

- In the Alexa app, click the 'More' tab

- Then select the 'Skills & Games' tile

Within the 'Skills & Games' section, use the search bar (Search Alexa Skills) and enter '+home app'

Tap on the desired skill description (i.e. the '+home app') and click the 'Enable to use' button

Link you account

- Within the 'Link skill with Alexa' page, enter your '+home app' email and password and press 'Link account'.

- The message '+home app' has been successfully linked

Go back to the home page of the Alexa app and select the 'Devices' tab

- Your Air conditioner will be listed

- Click on the air conditioner to see its properties

Using Alexa

You can either click on the 'Alexa' icon or say "Hey Alexa" to start to control the air conditioner

"Hey Alexa, turn on/off the air conditioner"
"Hey Alexa, Set the mode of the air conditioner to Cool/Heat/Fan/Eco/Auto/Dry"
"Hey Alexa, Set the fan speed of the air conditioner to quiet/ low/ medium/hugh/turbo/auto"
"Hey Alexa, increase/decrease the air conditioner fan speed"
"Hey Alexa, set air conditioner to 23 degrees"
"Hey Alexa, turn on the air conditioner for 10 minutes/hours"
"Hey Alexa, turn off the air conditioner in 10 minutes/hours"
"Hey Alexa, is the air conditioner on?"
